I found this video last night and something compelled me to watch it, I am so glad I did. Please watch for yourself and see what a beautiful gift it is for both Eliot and the world. This video really encompasses what I am trying to convey here at “The Life We Cherish”. That no matter what life throws at you….. EVERYDAY IS A BLESSING. Every moment with your loved ones is a gift. You can feel the celebration Eliot’s parents were having everyday. They CHERISHED every moment.
I hope you can also see the joy in this amazing video and that you take away a feeling of celebration and use it in your daily life where possible when dealing with illness or injury.
The video is called 99 Balloons and is from the Oprah.com website (it can also be found on You Tube). Before giving you the link I just want to say I understand that when living with illness and injury there are times when you are not strong enough to watch something like this. It has happened to me before. Don’t worry about it. It will always be here when you are at a better place if you would like to watch it. This is deeply touching and I did cry (all 4 times I watched it) but that is not uncommon for me (I am sensitive!). If you need, watch it with someone you love.
